STREET and your Shopify POS

In short: If you use Shopify POS in your shop, it keeps working exactly as it does now. STREET is a separate channel that shares the same Shopify stock, so your counter and STREET draw from one pool.

They run side by side

A sale at your till and a sale on STREET are two separate orders in Shopify. STREET does not step into your POS flow. You ring up in-store sales the way you always have, and STREET orders arrive separately in the Partner app.

One shared stock

Because both use your Shopify stock for each location, they stay in step on their own. Sell the last unit at the counter and STREET sees it as sold out. Send a unit out on a STREET order and your in-store count drops too. There is one source of truth, your Shopify inventory, and both channels read it.

Keeping stock for the shop floor

If you would rather not offer all of an item on STREET, you can cap how much of it STREET can sell. For example, keep most of a popular line for walk-in customers and put only a few on STREET. The rest stays for the counter.

Worth knowing: the one thing that keeps both channels accurate is keeping your Shopify stock accurate, which POS already does for you as you sell. There is nothing extra to run.
