How STREET connects to your store

In short: Once the STREET app is installed, it reads your products, stock and locations from Shopify, sends you the orders customers place, and bills through Shopify. Your normal Shopify setup keeps working as it is.

What STREET reads

STREET looks at your Shopify store for the things it needs to show customers and route orders: your products with their images and prices, your stock levels, and your store locations. It reads these from Shopify directly, so what customers see on STREET stays in step with your store. There is no separate STREET catalogue to build or maintain.

What STREET adds

When a customer orders on STREET, the order is created in Shopify and sent to you in the STREET Partner app, the same as any order would land in your admin. Once it is delivered, STREET marks it fulfilled in Shopify with the tracking. STREET also handles its charges through Shopify's own billing, so there is no separate invoice to deal with (see How Billing Works).

What stays the same

Nothing about your existing setup changes. You keep using Shopify, and Shopify POS if you have it, exactly as you do now. STREET sits alongside them as another way for nearby customers to find and buy from you. Your part in a STREET order ends where it always does: once it is packed and handed to the rider.

Worth knowing: because STREET reads straight from Shopify, keeping your Shopify products and stock tidy is most of what keeps STREET running smoothly. Get that right and the rest looks after itself.
