Accepting orders

Updated 25 Jun 2026

In short: When an order comes in, it is worth picking it up in the Partner app fairly quickly. There is a short window to accept, so treating a new order as something to action straight away keeps things smooth.

Why timing matters

STREET is a same-day service, so the customer is expecting their order in hours, not days. The clock starts the moment the order lands with you.

  • The sooner you accept, the sooner a rider can be lined up.
  • It helps to keep half an eye on the Partner app during your operating hours, so a new order does not sit unnoticed.

If you cannot fulfil it

If something has genuinely sold out, it is better to deal with the order than to leave it waiting. The sooner it is sorted, the better the experience for the customer.

Watch out if an order is not accepted in time, it is marked missed and cancelled. It is not passed to another shop. The customer simply loses the order, which usually means a sale lost and a customer who may not come back. That is the whole reason the window is short.
